Anders Anderson

Anders Anderson is Director of the Swedish House of Finance (SHoF). Anderson obtained his doctoral degree in 2004 at the Stockholm School of Economics. He held post-doctoral positions at the Institute for Financial Research (SIFR) and the University of Mannheim before being appointed Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics at the Stockholm University in 2006. In 2009, he returned to SIFR as Deputy Director. He was appointed his current position at SHoF in 2014, and has been teaching the course Behavioral Finance and Trading at the SSE Master program since 2011.

Andersons’s research is focused on individual and institutional investor trading behavior, behavioral finance, and performance evaluation. He has taught master courses in market microstructure, portfolio choice, and behavioral finance at the Stockholm University and Stockholm School of economics. He is also a frequent speaker and teacher in executive education programs. As an advisor, he has been commissioned to analyze the role of financial information to retail investors by the Finance Ministry in Sweden.
